About The competition
Rise and Thrive
An opportunity to build your business
The Pitch Competition provides entrepreneurs with funding for their start-up business, opportunities to learn from experts on starting a business, and a chance to market their ideas to the community. Contestants will apply, and then pitch their idea to a panel of judges during the Preliminary Round of the competition, on March 13th. Judges will rate each Pitch and determine the Top-10 contestants who will move on to the Final round on March 27, 2025.
Finalist will compete for First, Second, and Third place prizes. The top three contestants will all receive a UBTech full ride scholarship to a program of their choice. First place will also win $12,000, second place $7,000 and third place will win $4,000.
Yearly Pitch Opportunity
Each year the top ten businesses will pitch for a larger grant opportunity.

Anyone, regardless of age, is eligible to join the Pitch Competition.
February 28, 2025: Applications close
March 13, 2025: Preliminary Round
